BMR are lovely looking and reviewed speakers. But they are rear ported and reviews suggest pulling them out in the room, perhaps not the best choice for bookshelf placement. One reason why I suggested the front ported ProAc Response. Also suggest ATC SCM 19 because they have a sealed cabinet and can be placed close to a boundary without much penalty. Both are above your budget new, but you might find a pair used.
