Denafrips Terminator II NOS/OS issues

Hello all,

On my T-2 DAC, I follow instructions with the T-Plus or T-15 manuals (there never was a T-2 Manual) to first press Mute, then press Mode to set OS, I am able to achieve the correct LED Lamps lit, but then after a number of seconds the LED Lamps will change and then only read 44.1 and 1X.

According to the Manuals, 1X LED on 8X LED on = Slow Filter, 1X LED off, 8X LED on Sharp Filter.

I thought I was doing something wrong, but this does appear to be a fault with my unit.  I have earlier written to Denafrips for further explanation.

I can also simply press the NOS/OS Button, and that LED will turn on-off accordingly, but have no further adjustability, and again all I see is 44x1 and 1X LEDs lit.

Thank you for any help-advice you may provide me

OK, so you say this is normal operation, that when in OS, and whether you choose either sharp or slow Filter, that after a number of seconds pass, the front lighting will then change, but the OS settings one chooses will be correct and remain regardless of the display, correct?

I have yet another simple question in regards to any settings one chooses, and in particular, the OS settings.

That after a play session, the unit is then set to standby, and then powered back up at a later time, does the previous OS selections remain in place, or does one have to again toggle through Mute and Mode Buttons to select OS and whichever type of filter chosen?

In other words I suppose I'm asking about the unit's memory?  Does it remember those settings applied previously?  Thanks again for your help.

Yes.  It defaults to the previous settings.

FYI: I leave mine on all the time.

I thank you again for your help!

I combed the web for knowledge, and Denafrips themselves are a total joke.  Nothing they ever wrote or shown in videos help, jokers!

And going on facebook, the Denafrips Group, they did zero for me, poked fun at me and ridicule was all  with the same questions I have asked here.  And I will let them know shortly what a bunch of "funny". people they truly are.

Again thanks.  You set my mind at ease that this unit isn't broken. But it is quirky.
