Anyone in this hobby lonely like me and wish they could “hang” with a fellow audiophile?

I had to ask this question. Because that’s where I’m at currently. I created a nice little smartly tuned system that I’d love to play for others. As well as a knowledge base that’s strong enough now to listen in educated fashion to others’ systems as well. I just wish I could invite someone to listen, or vise versa. But all my audiophile friends are states or continents away. I live in a small town in east coast Florida and just don’t know anyone in my region who’s an audiophile other than dealers.
Any thoughts?

Will post system in next post

Thanks!

@dayglow Did you play, “I Like the Old Me Better”? My freshly married son didn’t think it was as funny as I did. When I shared it with him on line he refused to respond. Yes, Keb Mo can step on some toes while being a hoot to others.

Edit: To contribute to the topic, I certainly feel the same way as the Original Poster: lonely. Sometimes I feel like the guy who skips church to play golf who hits a hole-in-one. Who you gonna tell? But the, if you tell others about your experiences, or your system, you come across as a colossal bore, or at least I do. So you keep it in, listen in the basement, or wherever. It’s nice to enjoy music you like on a system you built and/or acquired, and I don’t do it often enough for the investment I’ve made. But I’m happy when I do.

@tlcocks  How did you find out about the SCAS meeting on the 27th? There's nothing I see on the web page.
