Any interest in the SCHIIT YGGY+ LIM DAC?   I own this DAC and like it very much. 

Schiit is working on a new DAC named the BYGGY. The BYGGY uses a bespoke delta-sigma architecture, not the traditional Schiit True Multibit approach. The delta-sigma modulator is custom-designed by Schiit, running at 6MHz with 7-bit depth, and implemented via FPGA.  They have not announced a delivery date.   

Unlike standard delta-sigma DACs that use off-the-shelf chips, Schiit’s design is based on their own closed-form mathematical models and implemented in-house, allowing for complete control over the digital-to-analog process and noise shaping.

The Schitt Byggi was introduced at the Los Angeles CanJam this weekend.

BTW - if anyone has an old Yggdrasil and is technically adapt, I will be selling the boards for BOTH the MIB and LIM very cheap. I will do this once I get the MIB converted to the Byggi.

Thanks for the above information.  What were the comments of the people hearing the SCHIIT BYGGY DAC at the LA CanJam event?  Any comments on its sound quality vs. the SCHIIT YGGY+ LIM DAC (I own this DAC)?
