@lak I did ping Weng Fai about the streamer. Somewhat surprised that their Laiv stack didn’t get more press after AXP. I’m on board with his new GaN amps. Just parted with my Rose RA180 (actually really don’t know why..) I’m listening to the Matrix TT-1 (with LPS) through a couple of other GaN and Purifi amps......I2S is amazing |
@mbolek From what I understand, I Harmony NET2 Streamer was not at AXPONA 25. This is not encouraging considering it is due for release in Q3 of this year. |
I'm hoping LAiV will add an upper tier of DAC/DDC/MC. Got my feet wet in LAiV with the uDDC. I am itching to upgrade from my current setup. The Harmony has mixed reviews (underwhelming to overwhelming and everywhere in between) and I don't want to risk making a lateral move or worse yet a downgrade. If they produced a suite of devices above the Harmony I'd be all over them. Anyone has the scoop on what's on the horizon? |
Hello I am using the Harmony DAC connected to a Mac Mini with Audirvana as a streamer. I just noticed the display never goes off despite the fact that I set up the off delay to 20s. But if I click any button on the remote then it start working as expected and the display goes off… may be a firmware bug? Does anyone have an idea if and how it will be possible to get any firmware update in the future? many thanks! |
