New Audirvana Studio Subscription Only

Just a notification to the community - the new Audirvana Studio will be released to Windows and Mac 16th May. Designed from the ground up, but guess what, no lifetime licence, annual subscription only at $70.  Many angry emoji and unhappiness on the FB live stream right now.
I am very happy using Jriver so just passing on the news....

Am I to understand that existing owners will no longer get updates to their version?

Yes, that's right.  You are able to run which ever version of the licence you have purchased but have no update right to the new 'studio' build.

Jriver sound better than Audirvana anyway , ... and I can use Roon UI to control Jriver ASIO driver. This is something that Audirvana cannot do.
