Although, I noticed your Zappa song. That should negate any "bad blood". :-) I own 21 Zappa albums. You wanna talk about an awesome musician. But, I think nobody ever took him seriously. Incredible guitar player, amazing lyricist (not to mention a PHD in English lit). We should be referring to him as Dr. Zappa.

I miss Frank. God rest his soul. Gone but never forgotten.
Although I have many favorites, including many listed above, here's a few more to ponder:

Instrumental: Tangerine Dream--the whole side 2 of "Dream Sequence.

Blues: Elvis--"reconsider Baby" from the DCC "Elvis is Back" That's right-Elvis!

Rock/Pop:
Moody Blues--"Deep"; Annie Haslam--All of "Annie Haslam"; Eric Johnson--"Battle We Have Won" and " When the Sun Meets The Sky"

Celtic/rock: Richard Thompson--"Beeswing" and "Mascara Tears"
Loreena McKennitt: "All Souls Night" and "Mystic's Dream"

Jazz: Dave Brubeck--"Take Five" still a classic!
