Wilson speakers/to people who own them etc

I will not spend the money on them no matter what/ However, I'd like feedback on what owners have said about them and what the listening experience is about.

I actually talked to the OP on the phone a few times last week. Not a bad guy, just stubborn. He'll ask your oppinion but I don't now that he's listening. This post is really funny though. He initially calls attention to any Wilson owners just to say that he'd never ever buy them (which probably puts Wilson owners on the defensive, because they did buy them) then he asks them for feedback on something he'll never buy. Just like the rest of you, that doesn't really make sense to me.

He is running a Peachtree Decco with LSA statements and isn't happy with the sound. I told him that the Decco is the weak link and that there is hidden potential in his LSA's that he hasn't tapped into yet. I've talked to him for hours about how to improve his system at the most cost effective way but he still insists that buying Atc scm 19's at $4500 or Decappos at $4000 is the answer. $4000 speakers hooked to a Decco? Really?

What gets me is that he speaks of Vapor or even Wilson like he has either owned or heard them. How are you going to plug a speaker, saying its a great buy if you have never even heard or seen them? Makes me wonder how many other people here on audiogon do the same thing.

Anyways, the dude is an alright guy. No need to make him feel bad just because of a few silly posts.
Ps, he did come up with a new term we are all using now too, "ube", and it brings a smile to face :)
