Why don't amplifier Companies use high end fuses?

My equipment - Raven Integrated Reflection MK2 tube amp 58wpc. / Lumin A-1 DAC Streamer / Synology NAS / Isotex Aquarius Power Conditioner / Furutech Rhodium Plug / Sonus Faber Amati Homage Tradition speakers.

I have read thousands of comments on upgraded fuses improving the performance of sound.  I am very open minded but not sold either way.  So, the question I have is....if fuses were so important, than why don't Amplifier companies all install them as OEM equipment?  To me, if they are as good as people say, that would provide companies who use them a competitive advantage?

Every High End Audio store I go to in Phoenix have told me it does not make a difference and is a waste of money.  For the record, I have fuses purchased at an automotive store for under $10 and I think my sound is awesome.  The Company that built my amp tested the Synergistic Fuses and he emphatically said there was no difference.

If I were to try a fuse for fun, given my equipment, what would your recommendation be to try?

Same reason MOST companies don’t supply NOS tubes for stock ... matter of personal preferences, no best! Let owner decide/roll for themselves.
HA HA HA. Why don't they use better resistors, capacitors, chokes or transformers, chassis metal thickness, feet, etc. Cost to price ratio? I think those would make bigger improvements than some fuses IMO. Why not just use a copper bar?
Any designer worth it's salt don't just assembled a combination of most expensive parts but a combination that meets a goal.

I understand every time a DIY replace a part, WOW!!!  Unbelievable improvement, more organic, resolving ...
So you don’t think a designer ever thinks, "I wish I could spec XXX, but just too pricey"? C’mon. Why are there "SE" editions?
Good business sense??   They trickle out changes whether SE or new models to generate interest.  So you propose companies offer one product cycle and close the doors?
Nice dodge. The point was that designers think about how to design their best sound into a component within a certain price range and given more $$ would choose to spec a better traditional component that they feel more confident in than a fuse.
If solution for BEST sound is simply use most expensive parts, who cares about circuits.  All we need is ONE company producing ONE component with the most expensive parts.
When I start listening to the difference sound for which direction I installed a fuse, I'm not listening to music anymore. I'm searching for extremely subtle changes in sound quality that may or not even be there, but certainly ignoring a great set of chord changes, a terrific session with a piano, deft fingering on a violin.
+1.  Exactly reason I prefer a boombox to Agastino Momentums.  I dissect the sound with Agastino and don't enjoy the music.  Is the air, resolution, bass ... real or product of Agastinos.

I like music better than sound. I guess.
Yep, me too.

Waste of money . I don't think you will hear a difference in voodoo fuses or magic clocks or super expensive cables . But hey , its our hobby , so if you have money that does'nt interfere with monthly bills , have fun !
You need a higher resolution system to hear differences in fuses and clocks but cables??     What do you have for a system?
Actually I feel sorry for trolls can’t hear differences with fuses, super duper clocks ... and especially cables. Double blind test ... Either you’re deaf or what the hell is your system???

Hope you’re enjoying the music. Boy you’re missing out!
what can you possibly "expect" from a $25 fuse in a $60K system that already sounds great.

That's just it, "expectation bias" will ring forth after spending $$$ on a 10c fuse.

Cheers George
And the problem is ...   If it works so who care how it works, Mate!

I've made this point before, but I'll make it again. Anything that can be heard can be measured. I don't understand why some of you think that there are some characteristics in audio that don't have a measurement signature, but that isn't the case. You people attribute qualities to a fuse that most definitely would reveal themselves through a spectrum analyzer. But they don't. One can only conclude that's because it makes no difference at all.
This explains how components with same measurements can sound different.  Thanks Julian Hirsch!
