Thanks AP, I missed you...

Tonight has Jethro Tull "Bursting Out" spinning
Pink Floyd "Animals" and The Cowboy Junkies "Trinity Sessions" followed up with Dire Straits "Brother's in Arms."

It was a good night.
I bet this one was not on anyone elses list. I bought a stack on used LPs a few weeks ago and have been working my way through them.

Last night I listened to three LPs the most fun was a Disney "Three Little Pigs" narrated by Sterling Halloway! It was actually a lot of fun.

The other two were a brit named 'Tracie' and someone named Tuesday Knight.
A new copy of Dusty Springfield's Dusty in Memphis. I listened to it the last two days. The sound is surprisingly good. A lot of the older music just doesn't seem to have been recorded that well, this is not one of those LPs.

It sure makes the latest crop of female pop/jazz stars sound durivative.

Four Men With Beards did the reissue on 180g vinyl. It was done very well.
Well, in sadness I confess that there's probably dust, a plastic bag and a shipping box on my old table, and not much more on the new one. It is in the process of being built. I have been without a table for over a month and even SACD is growing tiresome.

I hate everyone who has a functional TT! : )
Last night my 13 year old son picked Bob Dylan's "Down in the Groove." When I asked him why, he said it looked cool. 1400 LPs to choose from and he ends up with that one!?! Of course I told him no CDs prior to the Dylan choice. I enjoyed it, but I can't get over the process.
Got a kick out of the Roland Kirk story as I was sitting here listening to Jethro Tull from the 20th anniversary LP. Mr Kirk was a big influence on a lot of people...

:o
I don't have all the Bonnie and Delanie, but I have a couple, and I think I have three LPs from It's a Beautiful Day. I listened to some of the B&D last year, and enjoyed it.

I might have to give them a spin again today too...

I had some friends over and we spun Jeff Beck "Emotion and Commotion" maybe that's backwards. Then we listened to Hugh Mastekela Stimilea on 45rpm lp.
