Lol, yea, I truly feel I’m deep into da hole now.
It’s all your guys fault 😁

Im sure once I get everything together I’ll know it was a good overall investment.
Thank you, and everyone else who I bothered for opinions, I surely will.

You have all been a great help.
@gmercer

The Complete Last Concert - Modern Jazz Quartet

On my shortlist of all time favorites.

++111 Same here. I just got that on vinyl, but it turned out to be graded poorly. The seller refunded my payment in full though without a return, so will be looking for another copy. I’ve had it on CD for years, but want a better LP copy. Think I’ll look right now....
Jonathan Edwards - Have a Good Time for Me. ATCO 1973

Don’t think I played this since the early 70’s. Kinda ‘light weight’ stuff, but dang, really recorded and engineered well.
Clark, Hillman, Crosby, McGuinn, Clarke - Byrds. Asylum 1973

Don’t quite understand this album, all past ‘The Byrds‘ musicians, but called ‘Byrds’.

Goes for a decent amount on Discogs....had it since the 70’s.
I saved this 3 LP box set from all I received from @slaw for last. Too many to relist here, but cannot thanks Steve enough for gathering all these albums together and sending them off for me. I basically spent the whole weekend morning to night playing each, except to do a bit of yard work yesterday.

Hindemith - Die 7 Kammermusiken / Diesogenannten Brandenburgischen. 3 LP box set in immaculate condition. Telefunken, Germany pressing, 1969.

incredible set.
Sir Adrian Boult conducts Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme, Concerto Grosso, and Partita for Double String Orchestra. London Philharmonic Orchestra. Angel 1976.

This album really grabs you by the ba......throat.
More Neil, one which I don’t play a lot....

Neil Young - American Stars ‘n Bars. Reprise 1977
Donald Fagen - The Nightfly. WB 1982

With everything put together, I figured this album would be great treat for the overall package.

And it does sound fantastic.
Szell conducts Brahms - The Four Symphonies box set. The Cleveland Orchestra. Symphonies 1&2. Columbia. Per the ‘2 eye’ label, probably released in the 60’s.

@spiritofradio

James, that Korppoo Trio Sibelius LP looks interesting.

Can’t find it on Tidal unfortunately. Oh wait, did find it under Sibelius Piano Trio.

@uberwaltz

I walked past blood on the tracks at the lrs today.
no idea what version but it was used and $18 so?

I have a sealed copy of Blood on the Tracks on cassette coming. $9 shipped.
Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Get Happy. Columbia 1980

Haven’t listened to this in a long time. SQ is not too great on all. Inconsistent at best.
A little a little change of pace as this album has sitting in front of my rack for a few days waiting to be played......

The Jam - Setting Sons. Polydor 1979
And my main TT, the Garrard 401?

Oh man uber, truth be told, that TT attracts me greatly. I just love the old classic TT’s. I’ve also been guilty of of constantly checking out the older Thorens tables. Not quite the Garrard 401, but really like them.
@slaw

Well, that is a shame honestly. I do like supporting American companies, and my current system somewhat reflects that, even if used : Vandersteen, Belles, PS Audio, Parasound, Schiit, Grado, Etc.

Perhaps I should reconsider, or at least be less focused on a VPI as a ‘given’.
