What were the best years for McIntosh power amps...

... I want to buy a Mac but I must buy used. I need power so new is way outta bounds. I had a MC 7100 but she wasn’t man enough for the speakers I have.

I didnt know about them. I dont have too much money to spend ... I am in the Parasound A21 budget at the moment but could wait and save for the 7200... The first good stereo I ever heard as a young teenager was at Andrews AFB and it was a Mac system. That system changed my life... I have the C-41 pre so maybe I should sell some more of my music gear and finish this... since Andrews I have always wanted a Mac system... my wife is handicapped so I cant work anymore so a bit of patience will pay off and I can click that off the bucket list.
