I think Sting used it for his Soul Cages album. I can't recall right now. I'd better pull this album out and give it a spin. I absolutely love it!

I'm aware of Roger Waters, Pink Floyd, and Sting using the Q-Sonic processing technology on their recordings, and I really like the effect (even though it's completely unrealistic).
