What is Warmth?

Would someone kindly explain the audiophile term "warmth?" Most appreciated.

I see that word bandied about quite a bit, but I think I'm not the only one with confusion about how it relates to sound. From what you're saying it is energy in the upper bass region and perhaps equivalent to pushing the "loudness" button on some old receivers. It elevates the lower frequencies. Best wishes.

All I asked for was an "audiophile" definition of warmth. I'm not reading a uniformed, consistent AND objective definition among the group. I'd hate to ask the group to define imaging or timbre!!
