What input do you use with HCA-3500

Just recieved a used HCA-3500 paired with an Adcom GFP-750.

Tried unbalanced connection, and love the sound. Should I get a pair of balanced interconnects ? Will there be any improvement over unbalanced ?

As the HCA-3500 is not fully differential, I'm not sure if balanced input makes it sound better or worse.

Anyone tried both ? any comments ?

I saw an inverter circuit on the balanced input, which is not good for the signal. So, I will stick with RCA for now.
