Visualizer for Sound Stages?

I was wondering whether anyone knew of an application that would allow you to have some sort of 3D rendering of the sound stage?

There's lots of screen savers driven by the rhythm and frequency of the music - but I was wondering whether there were processing algos that could break apart the music into its staging in 3-space.

It would be fun to project the visualization while listening.
