Srtweaker, just saw you post! Have you installed the Tung Sol's in your amps? I have a McIntosh MC240 and I'm considering a set for it...Your thoughts?
Tung Sol 6L6G Big Bulb Tubes
Hey Guys,
I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience with the new Tung Sol 6L6G big bulb tubes with respect to their sound. I just ordered a matched quad for my Quicksilver Mid Mono's. They look cool as hell and are supposed to be made from heavy glass and have a vintage sound. That's about all I know. Please chime in if you have any observations to share.
