I WAS DISCUSSING TODAY WITH AN AUDIOPHILE FRIEND THE TUNING OF SYSTEM SOUND WHEN THERE ARE TUBES IN THAT SYSTEM. SHOULD THE CABLES BE NEUTRAL AND USE TUBE ROLLING TO GET THE SOUND YOU WANT OR DOES THE OPPOSITE APPLY?
Sugarbrie, By neutral I meant staying the same. I guess I was looking at this from my point of view which is a 6H30 tube in my preamp (the only tube component I own). My side of the argument was "change the wires". I wish somebody would agree with me so I can show my face in public again.
