Threshold input sensitivity

Does anybody know what is the input sensitivity of a Threshold S450e?
Thanks!

Hi Musicman,

I am the original owner of one of these fine amps and love it.

The Input impedance is 50,000 ohms unbalanced, 600 ohms balanced.

If you need any other info let me know.

Happy listening,
Lou
Lngbruno: He needs the input sensitivity, not the input impedance. I've tried looking up info on this amp, but can't find that specific spec. If one of you two can tell me what years this unit was made, i can probably come up with the answer. My guess is probably about 1.5 volts, but that is strictly a guess. Sean

Hi Sean,

I purchased mine in 1990. I looked in the owner's manual and service manual and I didn't see "input sensitivity" but did see input impedance. I thought that was what he was refering to but obviously I was wrong. After your post I looked to see if there was a reference of the 1.5 volts and didn't see that printed anywhere. What else would I look for to determine the input sensitivity?? Even though I didn't start this post, I am now very interested in getting the answer.

Thanks,
Lou
Thanks for your answers guys! I actually was needing the impedance too. This amp was produced between 1989 and 1994.
The current Threshold amps have a sensitivity between 1.12v and 1.58v depending on the model.

I am planning to buy a pair of MIT balance interconnects and they are impedance specific (Low, Medium and High). That's whay I was needing it. Also the sensitivity was needed to match the output of a Theta Miles CD player to run the amp directly.

Thanks, Jose.
