In my system the Quad 988 is the best I've heard. However, I would like to hear the OHM F's (owned from 1975-1989) and Apogee Scintilla (owned from 1989-2001) with the electronics in my set up now.
The best speaker you ever heard?
In my opinion, the speaker is by far the most important part of the audio system. After all, it is the only part you hear. OK, the other stuff really matters a lot, but without a great speaker... No go.
