Technics 205C-ll

I have bought two NOS technics cartridges recently a 205C-llL and a 205C-ll.They really sound great with my set-up.After reading Ruals post on MM carts I wanted to try a 205C-MKlV but they are hard to find.I did find a NOS MKlV replacement stylus.Although the stylus fits on the 205C-ll the original stylus sounds better to me.

Does anyone know if the cartridge bodies of the ll and MKlV series are the same internally?
