I'd think those speakers would beg for a modest sub merely for mid-bass. I'd consider some of the other value brands aside from Focal as well. A good $500-700 sub should wake up your new system nicely when dialed in. Good luck.
Subwoofer or not?

I'm interested in getting a Peachtree audio Decco -Hybrid int amp with dac/usb/remote that I heard with Focal Dome 2.1 speakers. They are selling me this for 2000 dollars. My question is, I'm only interested in listening to music (no movies, no 5.1,7.1) and I don't know if buying the subwoofer from Focal Dome would be an overkill for the music. Anybody has this speakers?
