Subwoofer boom is too much for me...

Could I tone down the boom on my subwoofer by plugging the port with something like a washcloth? Have you ever tried this and had success?

mbmi Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 452 posts 01-17-2023 at 09:39am Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete @eric_squires......I know this forum is loaded with sub owners and my post is not popular here BUT subs are very finicky to get them perfectly integrated into a complex system with multi units of electronic gear.....If you have the fortitude to dabble..dabble....tweak....and dabble again, Get a sub. But for many of us we just want to enjoy listening to the music . That can be achieved easier with less FUSS by having a nice floorstander that can go to 30 HTZ. .....ps. My feathers are ruffled but I’m not hurt. :)
