SRV limited Record store day Vinyl release Sound Quality?

Hi everyone I am a huge SRV fan and have his new limited texas hurricane box set, and just purchased his limited only on recored store day. A Legend In the making. A live concert recording never released on grey and white vinyl. Though I noticed this record dosen't have any dynamics or a good loud enough to even hear the dynamics from the recording. Played through my reference system. And I think frankly sounds like a poor digital download on a vinyl record.
Has anyone noticed the same?
