Should I get a older BAT VK-5 or Rouge Magnum 99?

I am getting a pre-amp for my system (thight budget, so mostly I bought used) consisting of:
Krell KSA250
Marantz 63SE CD (I will upgrade this later)
B&W 805
I am getting offer to get either a BAT VK-5 (without i) or a Rogue Magnum 99, both are offer for us$1200 and in very good conditions. I am afraid that the BAT is too old, but it had a great review too. Which one should I get? Thanks in advance
