Rowland 525 as dual monos LF w/ the 625 on top
Hi - I have the Rowland 625, Corus and Aeris driving Revel Salon 2's & want to consider as a cost-effective option the following:
Use the new Rowland 525 amps (w/ Pascal D class internals) as bridged mono amps to supply power to the sub section of the revel Salon 2's> i would use identical IC, PC and speakers cable to match sonics top and bottom.
The 525 bridged will produce 1000 W w/ the dedicated 625 on the upper liberated to work their best at 300 w. This solution would cost 30% less than going w/ the 825 and may produce very good bottom end extension, power and much needed authority. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
