Reversing Active Setup on Linn 5140?

There is a seller here that has a pair of Linn 5140 speakers that are set up for active. Crossovers disconnected. He is throwing in the active cards which is cool, but I don't have enough Klouts (yet) for that so that's a different story. Anyway, he says the crossovers are still in the speakers, just disconnected, (is that how they do it) so I am wondering if someone with average mechanical skills and a soldering iron would be able to get in there and reconnect them.
