NBS MONITOR IV vs III INTERCONNECT

I CURRENTLY OWN MONITOR IV BAL ICS. THINKING OF UPGRADING TO MONITOR III'S OR MAGNAN SIG. ANYONE HEARD THE DIFFERENCE

Good system choice. Sounds like the NBS would go well with your system. Yhe one to go for but haven't heard it is the monitor iii version. Ckeck their web site for reviews. I bought mine thru a dealer on the net for about 45% off, and arrived perfectly. I have heard very good things about JPS. Good CD choice as well. Unfortuntely in New Zealand it retails for $10,000 no joke. Plinius is the only cheap brand obviously here, around $2500 US from memory.
Thanks Snowok. I'm using AR CD-2, AR LS 16, Plinius SA100 MKIII, with NHT 2.5i speakers. I currently using JPS Superconductor 2 RCA interconnects and JPS Superconductor speaker cables. I wanted to switch to "balanced" ic's for both the CD-2 and the LS 16 to Plinius. The JPS are great cables, but you never see "used" XLR versions for sale.
Haven't tried the others you mention, use harmonics pro 9 shotgun. Very good. The NBS is very good for the money, I suspect better than the others you mentioned. Very clean and extended at both extremes but lacks the fullness of say the magnan signature, my personal favourite, but 3 x more expensive. If your system is sounding too warm or a little on the bloated side the monitor iv will tighten up the whole system. They are very detailed but not edgy. I have found that cable changes are dependant on system resolution. I currently use B&W Nautilis 802 with Krell FPB300 and AR LS16.
I'm considering buying NBS Monitor IV Balanced interconnects. How'd you like them? I'll be auditioning them against Harmonic Technology Pro Silway MKII's and Silver Audio Hyacinth Pro Balanced. Have you tried any of these in comparison to the NBS?
