I realize this thread is old, but did you ever replace the RCA cable on your MMF5? (I've been thinking of doing the same thing recently.)

I really want to change the RCA cable that came attached from the factory, why they did that I have no clue I guess to save money.
Does anyone know what is involved in replacing the cable and what cable to suggested?
