Modern CDs are mixed too loudly - a demonstration

Check this video out. It demonstrates a typical late 80's mix with todays mix regarding volume level and truncated notes. Warning: This will be upsetting to audiophiles!

THIS VIDEO CLIP WAS ALSO POSTED ON BOB KATZ HOME WEBSITE. I READ THE LINK TO THE ARTICLE ABOUT RUSH. NOW I KNOW WHY I DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF THEIR MUSIC ANYMORE. IT EXPLAINS THAT POWER WINDOWS WAS THE LAST REALLY WELL MASTERED CD AND THAT THE REST BECAME PROGRESSIVELY TRASH RECORDINGS.
