Media Room - flooring

I'm doing some renovations and plan to build a media room in my new house. I don't want any carpet in the house so I'm thinking of a cork floor. Then I'll place some foam here and there - corners, walls, etc.

How would that combination work for the sound?

Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
