I purchased a C220 about 4 weeks ago. For weeks, I was torn between it and the C46. In the end, I opted for the simplicity, tubes, and price tag. It sounds absolutely fantastic! As far as comparing it to the C2200, Ron from McIntosh posted somewhere on one of these forums that the two are very close sonically. I don't think you can go wrong with the 220. Good luck!
