Managing and distributing music
There are now lots of ways to convert CD collections to MP3 format but I am having a hard time finding an audio componant that I can use to manage this music.
The playing part is easy but I want a firewire and USB port on the front and the ability to "push" music to any "evice". Be it an iPod, or laptop or one of those USB stick players.
Also I would like a DVD/CD writer in it so I could import new MP3 albums or tracks, or rip music CDs and also write to DVD or CD to "export" music. The device also needs wireless capability so other computers in the house can access the music via home networking.
Anything like this out there?
If not, I may just build one.
