Is it just me or are things off this tax week?

It seems like every year there is a HUGE flurry of activity this time of year thanks to the IRS. I kept waiting for it to happen, but it seemed a little slow this year. Can't figure out why... usually there are a good number of sellers and buyers...

Weird topic but any thoughts why that might be? Am I just disappointed to not see what I'm looking for or did others feel the same too?

I may have misinterpreted your post, but is this something like the hungry vultures waiting for the lions to finish with the carcass; so they get their dinner?----- I got a few loball offers that made it seem like that's how the sender thought. As a buyer; Don't U just love desperation time----
Tax week can be good or bad. If you have to pay it is easier now that you can write your check directly to Iraq.
=) Not exactly what I meant. There are always a few vultures, but it is usually a brisk time as both a buyer and seller. I guess refunds and tax owed to some degree dictate our ability to pursue our hobby this time of year. I never noticed great pricing - in fact quite the reverse - but a LOT of transactions usually. As a member of the latter taxday camp, I guess I would qualify more as prey in the metaphor, but still have been expecting to see other's flurried transactions and have been watching on the off chance of seeing one of the items on my own hit list. Always fun to read a list of 800 or so "new today" posts...

Unless I am mistaken, after this particular tax day I believe I am now a minority shareholder in one of our tanks in Iraq. Guess I won't go to visit it though...
