Soundscaping is genrally the reason to get tubes. Although the Pass XA series does imaging pretty darn well. Are you dead set against tubes?
integrated or seperates?
I'm currently using a Classe CAP151 Integrated amp with an AR CD2 and Apogee Slant 6s. Would I improve my sound scape (width & depth) by changing to an AR combo (SS) like an LS3/D150.2 combo (that I am eyeing) or would money be better spent for power condtioning? opinions from users would be of grat help, Thanks.
