In need of advice for M-L surround speakers
I am experimenting with ESLs for my H.T. speaker system. I now need to purchase surround speakers for my 5.1 setup (Aerius mains, Cinema i center). I am limited to mountable/shelf sized speakers for the surrounds. I am familiar with the Scripts, but am curious as to other options.
Would a folded motion M-L pair of speakers be a plausible option? I am interested in the Motion 15s, due to their power handling and FR.
Do the folded motion transducers sound relatively close to the classic M-L sound?
Half of the movies I watch have monaural soundtracks, so surrounds are not all too important to me in terms of being 95% timbre-matched with the fronts.
