Has anyone Upgraded their Rowland Model 5 Amp

Has anyone upgraded their Model 5? Please tell me
1) What was done?
2) What difference did you hear?
3) Cost
4) In your opinion was it worth it?
Just wondering if an upgrade is better than buying a new/used amp like a model 8.
