I am using SX IC's throughout my entire system. I find them superb. They are very neutral with a wonderful midrange. I don't find the HF laid back. They soundstage very well and are non-fatiguing. I find all the reviews on them are accurate.
Like everything else, cables are very system dependent.
First listening to AU24 SX I'm a little disappointed
I just hooked up a pair of SX interconnects and speaker wire. They seem to do the bass pretty well. They don't seem to have a great deal of depth. The higher frequencies seem to be somewhat supressed or laid back? I've only listened for a couple hours but they are not new. I was curious as to others opinions of the cables. did you have the same first impressions?
