Favorite recording of Brahms Op. 118 2 in A major


Don't have one yet. Haven't heard anything that really transports me yet.

How about Glenn Gould or Radu Lupu?
Lupu's is excellent, but find he turns perfection of line and phrasing into a fetish, I miss the big picture, the big spirit of the piece. Any more?
I have the Rubinstein which is very good, and Gieseking which is a bit disappointing- a little flat. Gould does my head in.
