Carda makes a nice right angle RCA jack. It's not an adaptor. It is made to solder on.

The female part is the jack, strange as it may seem. The male part is the plug.

Radio Shack has them in gold plated. Try these inexpensive ones to see if you need anything supposedly better - you can always return them also.
