Do lifters degrade sound

I want to check different power cords but the audio tekne power conditioner takes only 2 prong cords. Its the best conditioner I have found but would like to check other possibilities on the cords

Mike VansEvers offers two-prong upgrade AC cords for this very reason. Probably some others that I'm unaware of as well. Anyone? http://www.vansevers.com/
