Hi, I've heard that there were two versions of the Vandy 2ce and I was wondering what the sonic diffences are and how can you tell which version you've got (other than opening them up and checking parts.) I
To my knowledge there are the following models: 2C, 2Ci, 2CE, and 2CE Signatures. Some models of 2CE's are upgradable to 2CE Signatues. You can tell by the serial number which is published at www.vandersteen.com. Great speakers.
Hi Issabre; There is a 2Ce signature that was introduced a year or so ago, but of course it has Richard Vandersteen's signature on the back panel. The 2Ci preceeded the 2Ce. I'm not familiar with any others. Good Hunting. Craig.
