Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000

I just bought  a Paradigm Studio 60 v5 Speakers to replace my front L & R ceiling speakers, which I will be using them for dolby atmos system. I am also planning to upgrade my yamaha rx v673 to yamaha rx a1070 for added power and to support the Atmos. Is DT procenter 1000 a good center for my set up? Any recommendations? I'm not an audiophile and I just want to have a good sound in our living room for movies and music.

Hi Bob. Welcome to the forum.

First of all, if you're not an audiophile, you may be in the wrong forum.

Just kidding :)

What I found curious about the thread title and hence the reason I chose to read/respond, is that I currently own a pair of Golden Ear Triton Reference. Golden Ear is owned by Sandy Gross. Definitive Technology was one of Sandy's previous companies. So, the DT procenter 1000 will likely perform well. However, if you can make the stretch financially, perhaps the SuperCenter X would be more to your liking.

I'm sure some others on this site will chime in with other recommendations...
Thank you gdhal for your response. I have a force field 3 sub from golden ear and I like the way it sound. I will definitely give the super center  X a try..Thanks
