crackling sound out of right speaker

I am hearing a crackling noise coming from my right speaker.
I have done the following:
Swapped cables (from nordost to MIT)
Swapped left & right sides (left to right and right to left)
Swapped tubes in the amp
Still I have the same crackling sound when no music is playing on any inputs.
My system is:
B&W 802D
Nordost blue heaven speaker cables (all nordost interconnects)
VTL 2.5 preamp
Sonic Frontiers SFS 50
Any thoughts?

Looks like it's time to change filter caps. Visualize them at the electrodes if there are any residue.
It maybe your preamp volume control. Try to jerk it up down. Also to make sure, if you have any other preamp or receiver, you can connect it onto your system and see if problem still there.
Blue Heaven must have a crack or poor termination somewhere. Opening shrink tubes may be necessary. Try to use different speaker cables or better use generic speaker wire just for the test.
As ZD suggested, do it on ALL tubes input and power ones. Did you try to contact Chris at partsconnexion? He's the one who built your amps and he could guide you through the points you need to check.
