Depending on your tastes, you may want to keep the dac around. Also consider the onkyo 7555 in this price range, I think it is a better buy than the cambridge, more reliable and will make a great transport for your dac.
cd player upgrade
I'm looking at finally dumping my Adcom cd changer for a quality single disc player. One of the players that has piqued my interest is the Cambridge 640C w/dual Wolfson DAC's. Would this dual Wolfson DAC player render my external Lite Audio DAC60 w/pair of Amperex 7308's pointless? If so, should I look towards something like the Music Hall CD25-2?
