Cable Breakin

Just received a pair of HiDiamond 8 speaker cable. Out of the box they seem to be very laid back and lacking presence. Do these cables change with breakin and how long does breakin typically take?

In fact have always found little or no breakin for any cables. Just reporting what I heard with these cables Alan

I am thinking that the problem may be that these cables were shipped from Italy to Canada to New york and finally to me in Texas. They had to be subjected to a lot of temperature extremes and a lot of vibration. It probably took a few days to settle in. Does this make sense. Now if they continue to improve they will be spectacular Alan
