Wow. Flashback. I was introduced to Khorns with these amplifiers running them. Also some Mcintosh monos. I kind of remember 2 of the Brook amps running them, 1 for each speaker. Was in my early teens, mid 60s, and I became a Klipsch fanatic from that experience. The person who's system it was, personally knew PWK. Marantz 7C preamp, prototype tt with Rabco tonearm, Empire cartrige, 7 1/2 or 15 ips reel to reel, which was heaven back then. Having AR3s at the time, I was blown away with the Khorns, as I do not remember which set of amplifiers I preferred. I believe the owner preferred the Brooks.That's all I can tell you. Enjoy ! MrD.
Brook 12A, listening impressions and design issues needed.
I am looking for listening impressions of the Brook 12A amp and any design weaknesses that I may have to address when purchasing one.
