Blues Tunes

So many blues songs have been remade by a slew of people. Who are the original creative geniuses behind two of my favorites..."Kind-hearted woman" and "Rattlesnake Shake"?

Also, who does your favorite versions of these songs? Thanks.

Kind Hearted Woman Blues was written by Robert Johnson, who did the best version, but for a more modern one, Keb' Mo's is pretty good.

There are about a million songs called Rattlesnake Shake. Which one do you mean? Hell, everyone from Aerosmith to Peter Green to Motley Crue does a song called Rattlesnake Shake and claims to have written one. I think the most often copied one was the one Peter Green wrote for a Fleetwood Mac album, but he's no genius IMHO.
