IMHO the Plinius would be a great match (and in your price range - used) for your speakers. I'm running the SA100 MKIII and i love the sound it creates with my Contour S3.4's. They can be found here used for around $1700. Good Luck.
Best bang for my $1500-$300 bucks?
I have been looking at amps for a while, and listened to a few I have my eye on with my equipment. I am running an old Marantz preamp and Dynaudio Contour 3.3 speakers. I was thinking of the Bryston 4B-SST, Simaudio W-5, Musical Fidelity W-5, and McCormack DNA-2 Deluxe. Does anyone have any experience with these amps or any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!
