Audio Equipment Recommendation App?

Has anyone ever heard of an app which would, say, use one's iTunes (or other) on-computer music library or specified parts thereof in conjunction with responses to questions about budget, listening volume, room size, etc, to suggest appropriate speaker systems or other audio components/systems?

A friend and I were kicking this idea around recently and came up with all sorts of possibilities such as "equipment currently for sale as new" and various audio components from specified time periods for those seeking the vintage experience.
